110 chapters in 2 movies?

It may not be the best sports anime with tough competition like Slam Dunk, Kuroko’s Basket, Ace of Diamond, etc. however, it remains beloved by many anime fans and is the first anime that comes to mind at the mention of volleyball and anime. Haikyuu!! originally released in 2014 with season 1 following the main character Hinata Shouyou on his journey to becoming a professional volleyball player. 

I personally love Haikyuu!! because all of the characters on opposing teams are developed so well that it lends itself to diverse fanarts and fanfics; one of my favorite fanfics being In another life. It is also the reason why I can’t choose a favorite character, I just love them all and root for every team when they play against each other. 

With the end of season 4 leaving off at chapter 292

in the manga in 2020, Haikyuu!! is set to adapt the final 110 chapters in its upcoming 2 finale films in late 2023. This news worries many in the fandom, fearing many cuts that may occur in the films. Whether the finale becomes rushed or not, it is undeniable that Haikyuu!! is an amazing anime deserving of a watch or rewatch and anticipation.
