Ok I’m biased but…

When I think about my favorite food the first dish that comes to mind is my favorite home cooked dish. It is the food that hits differently as it’s a combination of my culture and childhood.

My parents are from Myanmar (Burma) and although I didn’t grow up there, I was fortunate enough to grow up eating our traditional home cooked Burmese dishes. One in particular that stands out is amouth watering dish with a lengthy title—chicken coconut noodle soup or as I like to call it in Burmese, Ohn no khao swè.

Can be smelled from a mile away
