A fish in the shape of a banana? 

If only it was as simple as that; Banana Fish is a unique anime under thriller and drama. Under the guise of a strange but innocent name, it contains a wild action packed plotline complete with blood, guns and drugs. 

It follows the main characters Ash Lynx and Eiji Okumura as they tackle and investigate the drug “Banana Fish” in NYC; following them through thick and thin on this emotional rollercoaster of an anime. Eiji is a japanese photographer who travelled to NYC to report on street gangs, whereas Ash is a gang leader in NYC working under the mafia boss, Dino.
