There are several strategies in TFT that allow you to rank up quicker. The first strategy is focusing on the economy. Every several rounds, instead of rolling for the units you need, go to 50 gold and slowly level up depending on the comp you’re building. For instance, if the comp involves a 3 star 3 cost, it’s better to level to 7 and slow roll down for the unit. 

These are several meta synergies for the new set. 

• I like to use Shurima Strategists because it’s a fast 8 comp that allows me to get my 4 star costs quicker than the rest of my competitors. 
• Another popular comp is Ionia which is also fast 8, it revolves around building your items on Yasuo. 

Much like chess, TFT is hard to grasp by just explaining; it’s simply easier to play the game. You’re only given 100 health and once you reach 0, it’s game over. This is much different from your classic game of chess because TFT is more strategy and luck based
