WHO IS THE SUPERIOR COUPLE

SHOULD Serena have been with Nate Archibald instead of Dan Humphrey? I believe so. I have been rooting for them since the first season when Georgina was blackmailing Serena. Nate was there to emotionally support her unlike Dan who gave up once their relationship started to get hard. Everyone knows that for there to be a quality relationship that they are there for you when you hit rock bottom. For me, that is one of the most important traits someone can have to demonstrate their support 

On a mental level Nate is still superior to Dan who used him being poor as an excuse for their relationship not to work. Then there is Nate who knows and understands Serena. That when she has a problem she tends to isolate herself and when she does that he lets her know that he will be there. It never ends well if the other person is not mentally ready. It goes to show that Dan is also closed minded. He doesn’t understand that she could have chosen anyone but she chose him and she wouldn’t have done that if she didn’t believe it. It feels as if he thinks low of her and that she wouldn’t be able to survive without her family.
