My first anime

The first anime I watched was actually not Pokemon like many of the other people my age who happened to watch it on the TV; for me, it was actually Inuyasha. I remember coming home from school in elementary school and waiting for my uncle to come home to play the new Inuyasha episode. We watched it together as a family bonding event as the whole family ate dinner. However, funnily enough, we didn’t watch it in Japanese, we watched it in Canotonese dubbed. Although I didn’t know much Cantonese, it was fun to watch and admire the animation style of the fights in the anime. To this day, my uncle proves to be a big influence on my love of anime. A fun fact about my history with anime is that I watched big mainstream anime like Inuyasha, HunterXHunter, FMA Brotherhood, etc. thinking they were originally Chinese.
