Season 3 of America's Best Dance Crew ended a couple months ago and people are still fighting over who should have won, the Beat Freaks or Quest Crew. Like it, or not...Quest Crew won. People will still be in denial and look back at old videos of them performing and they will notice them doing breakdance moves. It's no surprise that they are. Every winner on America's Best Dance Crew won the hearts of voters with their headspins and windmills. I'm not saying that Quest Crew or the Jabbawockeez are bboy crews but they do breakdance and you've seen it.
Lets take at a look at the winners. The first winner was Jabbawockeez, the second winner was Super Cr3w and the third winner was Quest Crew. Super Cr3w are the perfect representation of a bboy crew. Jabbawockeez and Quest Crew aren't bboy crews, but they do incorporate breakdancing into their choreography and some of their dancers are actually bboys.
If you're a breakdancer, then you probably know who Ronnie is and that he is in SuperCr3w. In Quest Crew, there are actually some accomplished breakdancers, such as Ryan Conferido(who was in the top ten in So You Think You Can Dance) and Dominic "D-Trix" Sandoval(who was also a finalist in So You Think You Can Dance). Other breakdancers include only Victor Kim. Some of the breakdancers in the Jabbawockeez include Chris "Cristyle" Gatdula and Rynan "Kid Rainen" Paguio.
So if you ever think of competing on ABDC, learn to breakdance because if you don't, chances are some other crew will know how to and we all know how amazed people on this show are when they see somebody do a flair, or a windmill.
