Two days after their defeat in Mexico, the US soccer team has been dealt another blow to one of their star players. Landon Don0van who assisted the only goal the US scored while playing in Mexico, was diagnosed with the H1N1 Virus, or more commonly known as Swine Flu. Although some might think that he got the virus in Mexico City, the epicenter of the virus, Doctors however have confirmed that Donovan did not contract the virus in Mexico, but rather in the United States days before. Donovan admits that he did feel ill during the game, and although his condition is serious it is not serious enough to stop him from playing for the LA Galaxy this weekend. "I haven't felt that way in a game in a long time," Donovan said from Los Angeles. "During the game and even after the game I thought maybe it was the altitude, the heat, whatever. But even so I've never felt that bad. The last time I was there [at Estadio Azteca] I didn't feel that bad. I just felt lethargic, slow. I didn't feel normal."
