As the season is winding down, the race for the AL East is winding down and this upcoming se-ries with the Yankees-Bosox should give a pretty clear picture of who will come out as the division leader of the AL East. Having swept the Bosox in the last series in 4, the Yankees hope to do it again and end the hopes of Boston fans. Since General Manager Brian Cashman went to visit the club, the Yankee have responded and gone 39-14 since then and are the division leaders of the AL East. With an eclectic group of pitchers featuring veterans and effective young guns, along with a timely offense (more than half of their wins being comeback wins), they look to finish off August and September strong for the playoffs.
