The premiere of New Moon came out Friday, November 20^th. This movie seemed to be the buzz in high school this week, especially Taylor Lautner. It seems as though all the girls in this school fell madly in love with him; there are debates over whose husband he is (LOL). You would even hear some actually saying “OMIGOD I wanna lick his abs!” Even some guys thought he was pretty cool.

 

So I interviewed my classmates about their thoughts.

 

Asking these questions, What did you think about the movie and which team are you on?, my fellow juniors answered:

 

Sienna: “It was amazing, better than Twilight”

“I’m on Team Jacob. If Bella stays with Edward, she’ll die either way. With Jacob, she’ll be safer and the treaty wouldn’t be broken.”

 

Ashley: “Really pleasing to the eye (if you know what I mean *wink*). I liked it and it probably wouldn’t have been good without Taylor and Robert.

“I’m neutral. Why do we have to pick sides?”

 

J.P.: “Terrible acting, but interesting to watch.”

“I’m on Team Jacob, he’s a likeable character.”

 

Bria: “It was very good, I loved it.”

“I’m on Team Edward because I read the books ”

 

Gennel: “I like it, it was pretty good.”

“I’m on Team Jacob because I don’t like Edward. I felt bad for Jacob…I always feel bad for the guy who doesn’t get the girl.”

 

Connie: “Taylor Lautner! It was really good and the whole Jacob transformation thing was pretty cool.”

“I’m on Team Jacob; he’s so awesome, way better than Edward.”

 

Matt: “Jacob was so sexy (no homo). If I were single, I’d totally bag that.”

“I’m on Team Volturi because they’re wicked sick.”

 

Shannon: “It was good. Taylor should keep his shirt off more often.”

“I’m on Team Jacob because he took his shirt off.”

 

Aliyah: “I loved it. Jacob was hot. I didn’t like the ending (it shouldn’t have ended like that). I can’t wait for the next movie.”

“I’m oh Team Jacob. He’s hotter and so sweet. I’d lose my virginity to him.”

 

Kerry: “It was better than I thought it would be. It was ‘teenage-girlish’ cute.”

“I’m on Team Jacob. Edward talks ‘boringly’. And I love Jacob’s abs; I’m a fan of his abs.

Erica: “It was great, the best movie ever. I’m going to go see it again.”

“I’m on Team Edward because he’s so gorgeous.”

 

Demetra: “It was definitely a step up from Twilight. I felt the connection between Bella and Edward, but Jacob had a better connection with her. Also, Kristen Stewart was a bad actress.”

“I’m on Team Jacob because he wouldn’t do anything to hurt Bella. He’s more loyal than Edward.”

 

Jeanine: “It was better and made more sense than Twilight. It had more action.”

“I’m on Team Jacob because he’s hotter and cares for Bella more.”

 

Terell: “It was OK.”

“…I’m a guy I don’t do that.”

 

Anonymous (this is a dude, by the way): “I thought it was pretty bad.”

“I don’t do that. I am not picking sides”

 

Unfortunately, the guys claimed that New Moon and Twilight are wack movies and they will never, ever, EVER go see it. Therefore, there aren’t many interviews with the guys, but according to the girls this is a must see movie, especially because Taylor Lautner has such a buff body. So, America! Give Taylor the Young Hottie Award!
