Well, it's offical now, Disney is set out to kill thing...first it was Ponyo, now it's Marvel! I mean come on, did you really care about money so much that you dont care about the soon to be taken over great comic company!
Here's the article about the details:
http://www.techcrunch.com/2009/08/31/breaking-disney-to-acquire-marvel-entertainment-for-4-billion/
I may not know what's going on in stock but i do know it's still aobut of money but i mean seriously do you want to take the chance of have these great comics turn into such g-rated creations by disney. I get people are also excited because this means a new set of new plans and projects that could be made especially with the new technolgy we have now but honestly i'm not happy. We all know disney can come up with some great films but they're mostly for younger audience and for those who read the Marvel Comics can tell anyone, that these comics dont usaully have the "for kids" theme to it since they have done some senstive issues in their comics. So the big question here is can Disney really not kill off Marvel comics? Comment on what you think, later.

... It's just about money. Nothing will actually change. ABC was taken over by Disney, it doesn't mean ABC's spewing out G-rated goodness for little kids right and left. In the end, Marvel productions will still be the same. |
